Back in the fall I started noticing the phrase "Become Your Dream" (with a fish) written in chalk on the sidewalk. I finally looked it up online wondering if it was perhaps something "i should know about."

Turns out it was the work of the famous street artist James de la Vega. And he certainly seems to be spending a lot of time in my neighborhood, as I've seen the phrase pop up recently in all sorts of unexpected places.
Some may think its just graffiti, but I enjoy seeing it and feeling inspired on an otherwise ordinary stroll to the subway.
Who says the upper east side isn't happening?!
