gimme five...

I love the number 5, its always been my favorite. I've been looking for a '5' for years now, and finally came across the perfect one at the Conran Shop closing sale on 59th street. Funny enough a '5' cost $6.

diaper cake

My nephew Jack is about to be a year old (where does the time go?) Last year at this time I was still referring to him as "Muffin" and busy making a "Diaper Cake" for Kerry's Baby Shower. Maybe you know someone who is expecting who needs one for their shower? Let me know!

"The Hermes Carre," by Nadine Caleno is a gorgeous book extensively retracing the history and unique designs of the company's famous scarves. The Hermes website is equally amazing and completely inspiring with lots of smart surprises: see it here.
