One of the best things about new york city in the summer is the farmer's market!

Xu Bing at the Morgan Library

Chinese artist Xu Bing has done a beautiful installation called "The Living Word," inside the modern hall at the Morgan Library. Using the definition of the word "bird" he transformed Chinese characters to "fly away" up to the sky. It is especially pretty on a sunny day.
