hola moma

I went into MOMA very excited for the Matisse show (which I could not photograph) and ended up getting excited about lots of other things. like...

Yoko Ono designed this amazing interactive "Wish tree" which allowed you to write a wish down and hang it on the tree.

i liked this person's wish... "I wish i lived here."

This was my first "post-Spain-trip" Picasso. Les Damoiselles de Avignon, 1907. I always assumed that 'Avignon' referred to the town in France, when it is actually a street in Barcelona (that used to be home to brothels.) I found that out when i was standing on the street itself in Barcelona- who knew?
