finally time to blog...and personalized cake toppers

Hard to believe its been a year and a half since my last blog post! Since then I've moved (once or twice), got engaged (to an amazing man), became a hands-on bride (I designed and crafted lots of projects for our wedding) and now someone who has found a moment to blog! Here is one of my MANY craft projects for our wedding- personalized cake toppers for our Groom's cake- that actually do bear a quite a bit of resemblance. Many more wedding projects to share soon...

Shower invitation and tags

Here's a photo from Merideth's baby shower earlier this summer with the invitation and favor tags I designed. The mason jars as favors were such a fun idea!

Metropolitan Museum Button Display

I've had this crafting project on my mind for years and I'm so happy with the final result! With many trips to the Metropolitan Museum of Art under my belt, I've collected quite a few entrance buttons. I finally have them on display using an Ikea shadow box frame.
